The Rt. Hon. Margaret Beckett MP has officially opened the first dental practice to be based on Derby’s Pride Park.

Mrs Becket, who is the MP for Derby South, was special guest of honour at the official opening of The Park Dental Clinic, which is situated on Royal Scot Road.

The clinic has been launched by Moss Osman, Trishan Malhi and Harpreet Saduera, who have a combined 30 years dentistry experience. It comprises a luxury reception and waiting lounge, consultation room and X-ray facilities, together with two offices.

Everything about The Park has been designed with the patient in mind: its strategic location off Roundabout five on Pride Parkway and the A6 Pride Park intersection will allow The Park to provide dental care to the employees of the some 200 plus businesses located on Pride Park – thus reducing the time that they will need to take off from work to travel to and from routine appointments.

The clinic itself features the latest available technology, such as digital X-rays and intra-oral cameras to ensure that it can offer patients the most up-to-date services and dental treatments. In addition, each consultation room has been fitted with a television and DVD player - so patients will also have the opportunity to watch a DVD whilst they receive their treatment.

Treatment plans will be designed to meet each patient’s lifestyle and budget and the Park will also offer lunch time and evening appointments to help accommodate patients who are employed by the nearby businesses.

The opening of the Park Dental Clinic has created four new jobs and the company plans to recruit more staff early next year.

The Park Dental Clinic will offer both general dental care for routine treatment and advanced dental care including, dental implants, Invisalign, tooth whitening, children’s dentistry and gum treatment.
