We implement a wide range of techniques and utilise the latest technology to ensure your safety and satisfaction:
Health and safety: to minimise the risk of infection, we implement stringent health and safety procedures to help prevent cross infection. Disposable items such as bibs, needles, masks, etc, are used wherever possible and these are thrown away after each and every appointment. Non-disposable items are ultrasonically cleaned and sterilised in an autoclave and all surfaces are thoroughly disinfected between patients.
Oral (mouth) cancer: during your routine examination, we will check your mouth, including your tongue and gums, for any signs of oral cancer. This condition is easier to treat if it is diagnosed during the early stages.
Digital X-rays: have less radiation than standard X-rays and provide us with instant images, so we can advise you about any treatment you may require on the spot.
Laser diagnosis: we use a small laser to help us diagnose signs of decay at the earliest possible opportunity. And in many cases, this means we can repair the tooth, thus halting further decay without the need for anaesthetic.
Dental imagery: before you undertake any cosmetic treatments, we can take photos of your teeth, then manipulate them using the latest state-of-the-art computer software to give you an idea of how the final result will look!
